Marina Raiskin, born in 1973 in Almaty, Kazakhstan, studied drawing and graphics at Almaty State University from 1990 to 1995. After completing her education, she pursued a path combining art and yoga, focusing on the spiritual aspects derived from Hindu thought, and became a yoga teacher while continuing her painting practice.

In addition to fine art, Marina became involved in fashion design, particularly textile design. This fusion laid the foundation for her artistic expression in the years that  followed. Her work draws heavily from classical art, especially Gustav Klimt, and incorporates elements from the world of fashion. Marina emphasizes textures, graphic shapes, color, and materials, with influences from Eastern cultures, likely stemming from her Kazakh background and proximity to China.

In 2018, Marina immigrated to Israel with her two children, where she now lives in Tel Aviv and is fully dedicated to her art. Her works have been exhibited globally,  receiving widespread admiration and warm appreciation.
