Michael Milkin was born in Kharkov, Ukraine, in 1964. He began his artistic journey while studying Architecture at the local university, where he participated in several art exhibitions. Although Milkin initially worked as an architect after graduation, his passion for painting remained strong, and he continued to exhibit his artwork publicly.

In the late 1990s, Milkin turned to teaching fine arts and gained wider recognition with exhibitions across Ukraine, France, and Germany. In 1994, he became a member of the national artist union. Milkin's work focuses on still life and landscapes, characterized by thick brushwork and vibrant colors, achieved through a unique technique he developed.

In 2001, Milkin and his family moved to Israel, where he dedicated himself entirely to his art. His paintings have been exhibited and collected in the United States, Israel, Ukraine, and France, with numerous solo and group exhibitions showcasing his distinctive style.
