Natalia Sinkovski

Natalia Sinkovsky was born in 1959 in Semipalatinsk, Kazakhstan. As a child, she loved drawing and painting, but also developed an interest in mathematics, leading her to pursue studies in architecture. She earned a master's degree in architecture in 1981 and worked as an architect and interior designer. Throughout her education, she continued to take drawing and painting courses.
In 1995, Natalia immigrated to Israel with her family, where she began her career as a professional painter. It was in Israel that she first saw the sea, which became the main inspiration for her sailboat series. She views the sea as a source of joy and positivity, often depicting colorful yachts rocking on the waves or the excitement of boat races and romantic sunset sails.
Natalia applies acrylic paint directly to the canvas using a palette knife, layering thick applications of color. After the layers dry, she adds small graphic elements for detail. Using bright and cheerful colors like blue, aquamarine, purple, red, yellow, orange, pink, and lilac, she reflects her optimistic outlook on life. Each painting is inspired by where it will be displayed, influencing its size and color palette.
Her work has been featured in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Israel, the USA, the UK, and Russia. It is highly regarded and collected by art enthusiasts around the world.
