Nikolay Dubovoy was born in Vinnitsa, Ukraine, in 1964, and his family moved to Kharkov in 1973. He began studying art at the age of 13, and by 1994, he had joined the National Artist Union of Ukraine. Throughout his career, Nikolay has focused on still life and landscape painting, capturing the beauty of nature with dramatic, expressive brushwork. His distinctive style is marked by bold, vibrant colors and a special technique that he developed himself.

Influenced by both classical traditions and modern innovation, Nikolay’s work conveys emotional depth and intensity, inviting the viewer to connect with the subject matter on a visceral level. His use of color and texture creates a dynamic interplay between light, shadow, and form.
