Tanya Naiman

Tanya Naiman was born in 1952 in Voronezh, Russia. She studied at the Minsk School of Fine Arts before earning a master's degree in mural painting from the Belarusian State Academy of Arts. During her education, Tanya received classical training, with a strong focus on anatomy, live model studies, and classical perspective. She mastered traditional techniques, including fresco, stained glass, mosaic, and icon painting.


After graduation, Tanya worked as an artist at the Belarusfilm national film studio and participated in several international festivals. At the same time, she continued to paint and exhibit her artwork.


In 2003, Tanya immigrated to Israel, dedicating herself entirely to her passion for painting. Drawing inspiration from the humanistic tradition of Classical Art, she focuses on the human figure and its relationship with light and shadow. Influenced by Renaissance and Baroque masters like Michelangelo, Botticelli, Caravaggio, and Rembrandt, Tanya often uses oil paint applied in multiple transparent layers.


Tanya Naiman's work has been featured in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Israel, the USA, the UK, Russia, and Belarus. Her paintings are highly regarded and collected by art lovers worldwide.
