Yoav Pour

About.png

Yoav  Pour, born in 1960 in Haifa, Israel, spent much of his childhood  abroad, immersing himself in diverse cultures. His travels in the Far East during his 20s introduced him to the ancient silkscreen serigraphy technique.

In 1992, Yoav founded a silkscreen workshop in Tel Aviv, becoming an international expert in artistic printing while exploring painting as a hobby. Drawing on his  mastery of color, layers, and textures, his paintings gained acclaim, prompting him to make art his life’s focus.

His dynamic, impulsive technique—eschewing brushes for spray paint and hand movements—melds abstract expressionism and urban street art, with influences from calligraphy, Latin and East Asian scripts, and musical notes. Inspired by Jackson Pollock and graffiti aesthetics, Yoav’s work is exhibited in galleries worldwide.
